TWIG Advantages

Durable devices

TWIG lone worker alarms are durable and cost-effective in the long run.

Compatibility

TWIG compatibility includes a full range of accessories, Short Range Devices (SRD) and an alarms monitoring application TWIG Point SP forming together a wide product offering and enabling building a solution to end-customer needs.

Backwards compatible protocol

TWIG over-the-air protocols are generally backwards compatible over evolving device platforms from device type to device type. It means also novel TWIG personal alarm devices are usually drop-in compatible with alarm receiving centre (ARC) systems once integrated with a previous TWIG product.

Scalability

TWIG compatibility includes a full range of accessories, Short Range Devices (SRD) and an alarms monitoring application TWIG Point SP forming together a wide product offering and enabling building a solution to end-customer needs.

Open interface

All TWIG personal alarm devices can be integrated into customer or third party monitoring and tracking software. The open interface facilitates integration of new functions and improvements and enables adjustments according to customer needs.

Modular system

The modular concept means cost savings and options for customer. For a specific purpose selected functions ensure the efficient functionality and focus on the necessary. TWIG Short Range Devices (SRD) are modular components creating complementary location system for indoor premises, enabling discreet alarms and registering attendance in changing indoor locations.

4G communications

The personal safety alarms must be replaced by newer generation 4G personal safety alarms in countries where 2G GSM or 3G radios will not anymore be available. TWIG is one of the few suppliers 4G personal alarm devices.

ATEX certified devices

The ATEX Directive (94/9/EC) forces manufacturers to gain certification of electrical and/or mechanical products that can be used in a potentially explosive atmosphere. TWIG Ex lone worker alarms are type approved and manufactured pursuant to an ATEX certified quality management system.

Indoor solution

The indoor solution is designed to locate distressed or injured persons inside areas where GPS is not reliable and other methods do not provide needed accuracy.

In-house engineering

We employ in-house engineers for software development, electronic engineering and RF (Radio Frequency) design. By developing in-house product technology and platform, we gain full control of product quality, features and life cycle. We create and maintain our own circuit designs and source codes, allowing us to make derivatives or new products as needed in the market or by a specific customer.

In-house manufacturing

Evolving proprietary technology platforms, instead of spot-trading with ODM products, translate into stable quality, stable functionality and stable system protocols. Full in-house manufacturing is a key element of our concept. By placing the production line literally meters away from engineering, marketing and management, we facilitate best possible communications and create a culture where quality and customer service are always job one.

Automated SMD-Line

New technology brings new reliability. Our latest SMD machines are equipped with advanced diagnostic and response systems that significantly reduce downtime. In the event of a malfunction, these machines can quickly diagnose and address issues, minimizing production delays. This improved reliability ensures a smoother production process and allows us to meet delivery deadlines more consistently.
